    Lonald Welly D.C.

Dr. Welly has actively practiced Chiropractic in Snohomish County where he was raised. Among his accomplishments include a co-authored a book on the topic of Applied Kinesiology and a lecturer position in continuing education forums for Chiropractors and Physicians. Dr. Welly cofounded the Snohomish County Chiropractic Education Association.

After graduating Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport, Iowa and completing his residency he had an associateship with Northwest Chiropractic Center in Everett, Washington. At Northwest Chiropractic Center he was able to greatly expand his knowledge of patient care by participating in a variety of patient needs, while working with the five other doctors.

His next opportunity came with his association with Dr. Richard Prest, author and lecturer, on the application of Applied Kinesiology in clinical practice. This gave Dr. Welly broad insights to rehabilitation of athletes and progressive conditions. It was with Dr. Prest that Dr. Welly had his first position teaching post graduate studies in clinical disciplines. These skills aided him later when opportunities opened for him to lecture at medical conferences on differential diagnosis of spinal conditions.

Dr. Welly opened his private practice at Smokey Point with Dr. Craig Hedlund and was later joined by Dr. Ryan Shultz. He takes great pride in the high standard of care that together they have been able to provide for patients in cooperation with the medical community, physical therapists, massage therapists, naturopaths, and acupuncturists.

Outside of the office, Dr. Welly has been involved in multiple nonprofit board of director positions with groups that include Special Olympics of Snohomish County, Bridgeway’s (Group Housing and Employment for the Mentally Handicapped) and the Everett Rowing Association. He currently consults with nonprofits on board of director’s development. The balance of his spare time is taken up with wood working.

Dr. Welly enjoys meeting people, learning their stories and helping them put healthcare plans in place that will make a difference for themselves and their loved ones.
